  • Amy & Hayden's wedding rings

    • The object:

      I made wedding rings for some wonderful friends of mine. Pretty stoked to have had that honour. When I was younger, someone taught me how to weave flax rings. They were beautiful but transient.

      It was always in the back of my head to create them in a more enduring form. After attending some of Craig’s silver smithing classes, I hit upon the woven silver thread.

      I photographed the making of both rings, so Amy and Hayden could experience the process from start to finish. Amy’s album ended up being about 300 photos, which was the less than the 500+ I took.
