  • Steam bent picture frame

    • The object:

      I bought a print at the Museum of Anthopology in Vancouver. At the museum, I learnt First Nation cooking vessels were constructed from a single piece of cedar. In tribute, I created a steam bent frame from a single length of kauri.

      The print is by an artist called

    • Materials:

      Single piece of kauri, glue. Umm, steam.

    • The object:

      Tensioned stainless steel wire combined with a heavy solid frame creates the illusion of floating wine bottles
